THE WALLS OF WYNWOOD ARTS DISTRICT, MIAMI
Pop Design Shoppe takes Miami! On my two week trip to Miami, I knew the Wynwood Arts District was on the top of my itinerary. I even snagged a few pics with the outdoor art pieces myself (pictured with Queen Andrea’s piece to the left).
In just a few short years, the former warehouse district has turned into a well known spot for its many colorful murals. Wynwood Arts District in Miami is one of the city’s most exciting spots for bars, breweries, colorful shops, and an outdoor gallery with up & coming artists. It started with artists painting murals and graffiti throughout the area, which were proudly welcomed by the neighborhood's early developers.
Today, there are more than 70 galleries and museums. Funky galleries and colorful printed shops cover the streets. Additionally, plenty of new restaurants and bars have since opened across the area, making it even more vibrant and alive for locals and tourists.
Wynwood Walls is an outdoor museum highlighting works by some of the world’s best-known street artists.
